With Sandra to the second turn-around and back. Tried a wee jog in two spots. Heel started to tell me where to go, so I stopped. Frustrating!

Parc Moussette-Pink bike path-LL-Portage loop with Francis. Stopped for snack at LL. Gorgeous day! Encountered a deer standing right next to the path on the Trans-Canada bike path in Gatineau. Walt and Celeste enjoyed the ride!

Note

Drove to cottage to overseethe pipe repair project. Got there, spent about 4.5 h on site, then drove back after eating a small lunch. Made a point to dorsoflex my L foot while I was driving. Could feel my L calf getting tight, so tried to massage it along the way. Tricky.

Note

Helped out at Pinecrest Outreach with Francis, Rorry, and Tommy. Scouts group (cubs and beavers). Some walking over the terrain at the end iof the session. Heel was bugging me a little bit all day. Refrained from running or jogging of any kind.

Just got notification that the ticks we took in to Dr ST in May tested positive for Lyme Disease :(. Good thing we had received the antibiotic dose right away.

Walk with Francis to Duckie Point and back. Warm, sunny, humid, pre-storm weather. Heel OK, with one ir two little teinges at around 5 km. It was a bit sore last night, so I really rolled the foot and stretched.

The usual session, no side-leg stuff. Good- heel liked all the calf and hamstrings stretches.

Along SJAM with Francis to War Museum, then on the rec path out to Carling/AH Park. Turned there and came home. Cool, breezy, busy day, with lots of people out enjoying the morning.
Energy is coming back, but still not 100%.

Yay! Second day of running re-entry program. Today I ran a bit faster in the running portions. Did a good calf stretch then the Day Two schedge. So, 5 min walk + 4 x (1min run + 1 min walk) + 5 min walk. Again, all on natural terrain at FR Park and trails.
