1 PM

XBX Fit 450 Program 50:00 [3]

Good session, but my muscles felt cold for some reason. Did Rita bends: two sets if 15 reps.

Friday Nov 15 #

12 PM

Running 42:10 [3] 7.05 km (5:59 / km)
ahr:148 shoes: Saucony Excursion 11

Modified 4H Loop, but did two loops of the oval and did loops around Severn block to avoid the big Connaught hill. My LF isn’t ready for that! Slushy, windy, ice pellet squall at around 4km, but generally a nice run.

Spinning 40:00 [3]

First stat bike session of the indoor season. Aaagh I miss outdoor cycling :(
Did a Hazel walk and about 35 min of shovelling snow as a warm-up.

Wednesday Nov 13 #

10 AM

XBX Fit 450 Program 55:00 [3]

Really good session to my new playlist: The Way Back Up.
Included two sets of Rita bends (15 reps). Warm-up was a walk to pick up groceries, etc.

Snow Management 45:00 [3]

First big snowfall. Nice powder! Out there with Francis and Hazel doing our initial Snow Management session of the season. Haha bite me!!!
Dang, it bugged my PF :/
11 AM

XC skiing 25:00 [3] 2.3 km (10:52 / km)
shoes: Solomon Vitane Combi Pilot

First ski of the season!! Used classic skis and cut a trail in 8” powder in the FRPark loop. Francis cut from the opposite direction and we met up to make a nice perimeter track - soon to be destroyed by dog-walkers, no doubt!!!
Wanted to just test out my foot on a short excursion to see how classic style affects it.
The jury is still out...
12 PM

Running 37:56 [3] 6.04 km (6:17 / km)
ahr:149 shoes: Gel Kayano 26

First snow-run on the neighbourhood streets. Went right after my XC ski, so a Winter ‘Brick’??? Hahaha!
Footing was slippery, so it was slow going with that and a strong westerly wind. Some spots were thick with slush. Eeeew.
Now to see if my PF cranks up and tells me where to go...

Sunday Nov 10 #

10 AM

Running 1:00:48 [3] 10.05 km (6:03 / km)
ahr:149 shoes: Gel Kayano 26

Bike paths near Asticou. Ran solo for about 4 km then Tash and I ran together :) for the next 6 km. We took the bike path to the main street (Cité-des-Jeunes) and ran along that back to the Asticou centre. Nice seeing everyone at this last B meet in running shoes in the woods. On to ski-Os!
