With Tim - up Blackburn, across to the Mast, down Manganese. Lekker loop and a lot further and faster than planned or expected. Legs feeling much better than for the race yesterday..
Need to be better at getting a lot more of these 'long' easy days in

Marloth 24 - 2nd 4mins behind Jarryd.
Just feeling very flat in the legs from the start and could never actually push. Also very crampy from early on without really getting worse.
Landed up being a very chilled effort which probably wasn't the worse thing for me.
Possibly too much rolling to loosen the quads in the days leading up

Sweatshop run with Nic, Dyl and Wages. Nice to do a road run with a group...been a while. Quite enjoyable when you're in a group and don't start overthinking form and things.
Nice rhythm, hammy a bit better today but still not perfect.

Wednesday Oct 2, 2019 #

10 x 1min on/off on the trail, then trail and tar group (out on the jeeps, back on contour).
Doing the fartleks on a nice mix of terrain; up the single track and jeep, down the jeep, and back along the flat.
Not feeling particularly great but not bad either; definitely still a bit tired from Sunday.

Quad not playing up today, but hammy/groin very tight and uncomfortable. Need to loosen it properly before Saturday..

Tuesday Oct 1, 2019 #

Alphen and hill sprints. Feeling muuuuch better than last night.
Left quad still tight and a bit weird

Tuesday Trails - up snakebite, and along the contour. Such a lekker run.
Legs very flat up snakebite, but otherwise good. Quad still very uncomfortable

Monday Sep 30, 2019 #

Slow one in the vineyards. Very tired legs, and left quad a bit uneasy.
Foot not feeling as good as it has been - probably just a bit of irritation from the descents yesterday.
