Hiking 2:52:01 [2] 12.51 km (13:45 / km) +1302m 9:03 / km
ahr:120 max:173

Long easy walk with friends. Elevation is wrong, it was more like ~600m gain.

Trail running 37:32 [2] 5.14 km (7:18 / km) +412m 5:13 / km
ahr:136 max:168

Walk/jog a ski slope (so steep!) with a couple of friends and jog back down. I think the lower leg is better from the couple of days of cross training.

Mountain biking 1:10:28 [2] 19.69 km (3:35 / km) +4m 3:34 / km
ahr:131 max:160

Longer cycle along the nearby trails before heading to Morillon this afternoon. Only feeling a little the lower leg when getting out of the saddle to push harder on the pedals, other than that didn't feel it at all.

Thursday Aug 31 #

10 AM

Mountain biking 48:23 [2] 13.06 km (3:42 / km) +2m 3:42 / km
ahr:135 max:156

Following Robbie on the mountain bike as he does a progressive trail run around the nearby lake. No problems while cycling, not too sore while walking but I can still feel it there so will try to cross train as much as possible for now and attempt a run now and then to re-evaluate how the loger leg feels.
5 PM

Turbo trainer 40:17 [3]
ahr:138 max:159

Sweaty session on the turbo trainer! No problems with the lower leg on the turbo. Fairly low resistance but trying to keep a good cadence going.

9 AM

Trail running 23:29 [2] 5.05 km (4:39 / km) +1m 4:38 / km
ahr:133 max:158

Easy short run with Robbie around the nearby lake. Although it's not that sore, the lower leg is tender now and then while running and very tender to touch.

Trail running 7:00 [2] 1.39 km (5:02 / km) +4m 4:58 / km
ahr:146 max:167

Little extra to check where a single trail is leading while waiting for Robbie to run a bit more.
5 PM

Mountain biking 45:00 [2] 10.28 km (4:23 / km) +2m 4:22 / km
ahr:115 max:161

Following Robbie on the bike during his evening run. It seems a good idea to cross train as much as possible while that damn leg sort itself out. It's not sore at all cycling, and doesn't make it worse after either so at least I've got that!

Trail running 1:14:38 [2] 10.25 km (7:17 / km) +345m 6:14 / km
ahr:154 max:181

Walk/jog on local french trails my dad dropped Robbie and me at. Started by walking for 5-10min before starting to jog easy. The trails were amazing there, undulating, mix terrain with some soft smooth parts, some steep rocky downhill parts... So kept it all easy, I couldn't have gone that fast anyway, it's roasting here - almost 30 degrees by the time we finished!
Lower leg still tender to touch, felt it now and then while running but it wasn't too sore. I think wearing the compression sleeves helps (or maybe it's just in my head!).

Note
(rest day)

Travelling.
Lower leg very tender to touch but not hurting any more despite carrying a rather heavy backpack around.
