Felt good. Cold 44┬░start. Legs were good. Had to open my stride to keep HR up.


Indiana Dunes State Park Nature Preserve. Not 1 person on any trail this morn.
Forbidden trail #2. The bog is reclaiming the boardwalk.

Felt good. First time kayak racing. Got my ass handed to me by carbon/ kevlar Olympic training kayaks and surf skis. Not without paddling my heart out though. Gave it everything I had. It was fun. Ill do this next year with a more competitive boat.
