Road Bike 7:02:00 [3] 101.05 mi (4:11 / mi)
Hoping to win the award for "Most absurd pickup of t-shirt from a virtual race that took place 5 months ago". Woke early, rode the CVT to Valley Forge to SRT to the southern terminus in Philadelphia, then turned around and rode through the Wissahickon to Rootstock HQ where I was greeted with a wonderful mid-ride break (and that pesky shirt). I remounted, finished the Wiss, made it back to the SRT, and then rode to its Northern terminus in Parker Ford, where I swung south and headed home. My first continuous century, and I felt much better than I expected. My legs felt great until just before mile 60, and they recovered around 75. My first cramps at the bottom of my finishing hill made me momentarily regret this ride - that quickly changed when the road flattened out. Such a fun morning!
