I've tried overlaying the GPS track on the map but my GPS was just having a bad day out there. I had to manually punch like 3 or 4 times. Here's a hand-drawn route instead:
 Hesitation just south
 Bad bearing in ambiguous forest
 Good, safe route
Slow just cause I needed to make sure I was where I thought I was
Ran right past the feature and had to turn around
Thought I'd be clever with Greg right behind me and aim off to the east a bit but ended up attacking 8 and looking like a complete dunce
A really good route that minimized climb, had some trouble attacking it in the circle
 Embarrassingly doubted myself
The green really didn't want me to attack it
Ran down the valley which I read as a spur. Got my contours backwards :/
Thought I'd try to be clever again and run along the road but it was WAY steeper and more dangerous than the map makes it look, so I went to the E trail. The trail was waterlogged so I had to overshoot past that last hill and turn around for a safe entry into 14, which I kinda botched anyways.
Super valuable training, but it was littered with miscellaneous mistakes. I almost wish I was just making one mistake consistently rather than the hodgepodge and potpourri I actually was.
