Long simulation with Greg at Spackman. Forgot to bring my orienteering shoes so I was on my old running shoes. Left leg isn't feeling fantastic right now but certainly better than the last few days.

Overran 1 but was in the right spot anyways. Greg caught up with me at 4, passed at 6, and I trailed him to 7 until just W of 13, him getting out of sight every once in a while only to see him cross in front of me again after getting slowed down by the downed trees. Saw Greg leaving 9, and stopped on my way to 10 near a rock pillar I didn't see mapped (it's there, just couldn't see it). Crossing the big reentrant W of 10 sucked and I thought Greg was long gone, but I saw him when I exited which made me push a little harder. I was behind him until 13, when I saw him exit as I entered, and was out of sight for the rest of the race.

Good compass work and map reading. Small mistakes which I fixed quicker than usual, which is a big difference maker (8, 13, 14, 15, 16). I followed Greg without reading the map for the first half of 7 and was pleased with the execution after he left me.
