LA in the Land O'Caterpillars.

Just one major time-wasting flubbed leg today (control 2), a vast improvement over recent meets which had several legs that went way off track. Well, also a significant flub with control 5 but not as bad as 2. But other than that, hmmm, things went oddly relatively straightforward. Being fairly slow and cautious probably helped. No stellar results rankings-wise, but I'm happy with not having a ton of enormous mistakes. And, took half an hour less than my COC long, which was a little shorter direct distance than today's course, so I'll take that as a win...

Can hardly believe the spring series is almost over... didn't it start just a few weeks ago?

Final training of the session, at... the Barrens. [cue sinister Jaws music]

This terrain eats me alive. After fumbling around attempting the line-o for a while I ran into two others and joined them for the rest. We made slow progress, eventually completing the line-o then making it to 1 and 2 before running out of time and making our way back.

If a meet is ever held here I will most likely stick to Novice!!
