Biked up to the top of Polhill,then down to Brooklyn, across to Aro Valley and up to the top of Northland. Lots of uphill, just how I dislike it. Also went in the middle of the day so it was pretty hot. A mix of mountain bike tracks and roads. Felt pretty good,a little sick going up the mountain bike tracks to Polhill but then strong going up from Aro Valley.

Hill intervals with warm up and warm down like last week. 5 x 3 minutes up 3 minutes down. Was more consistent this time and also managed to get further up the hill every time. Felt dead on the 5th one but somehow managed to be faster than the previous time. I also noticed that if I focused on putting my heels down too instead of just running on the balls of my feet that it felt less tiring.
