Orienteering race 10:11 [3] 2.27 km (4:29 / km) +30m 4:12 / km
ahr:159 max:180 shoes: New Balance 1500

Knock out sprint quarter finals. Started off easyish but had multiple disasters almost skipping a control twice and not noticing the large hill on my map choice leg. Didn't really deserve to qualify for the next round but managed to get 3rd still.

Orienteering 10:04 [4] 2.33 km (4:19 / km) +7m 4:15 / km
ahr:164 max:181 shoes: New Balance 1500

Knock out sprint semi final. Had arguably the hardest semi final with Jonty, Nathan, Joe, and Liam. Did decent with the map reading but my legs were done before we'd even started. Made a 20s mistake on the last loop too. 5th/5.
3 PM

Orienteering 9:53 [2] 2.41 km (4:06 / km) +21m 3:56 / km
ahr:141 max:167 shoes: New Balance 1500

Knock out sprint C final. Had a clean run and legs were feeling better but still not fast. Managed to win and post a time that would have been 2nd in the B final.

NZOC Relay. Ran first leg in a team with Lara and Lizzie. Didn't manage to get on a good train and had to actually lead one for early parts of the course. Had a mostly clean run however my legs were pretty fatigued and I was feeling a little sick and so came back well behind (7 minutes) on a bit of a runners course. Lara ran next and did well to claw us up to 4th (still well behind the leaders but close enough for a tight battle for 3rd). Lizzie set out 45 seconds after Jonty in the fight for 3rd but was unable to chase him down after a solid effort. 5th in the end. Could have been higher on a more technical course.
