This workout was good and hard! I definitely felt that when doing the progression run there was a distinct change between the paces that needed to be done. however, when running around the hard track surface I was experiencing some discomfort again on the outside of my lower leg but this was not enough discomfort to affect my effort when running. I was feeling a bit sore for the past few workout.

20 min barefoot run

This workout went fairly well for me. However, when doing the 20mins of barefoot running around the track I was experiencing some discomfort on the outside of my lower leg this was closer to the end of the 20mins. The biking and elliptical went fairly well as well. The elliptical that I was on was a bit annoying though because I kept hitting my legs against the machine when doing a stride on it.

This was my first workout back from my rest week it went pretty good. I was feeling really energized and ready the start doing workouts again. I was a bit sore coming back and having to run at tempo and then race effort but overall it was good and I'm happy to be back
