I didn't run the way that I thought I should have. During the race I was focused on staying up with the girls ahead of me but once I got over half way that's when mentally I began to lose it. I gave up and didn't push myself to stay up with the girls ahead of me. I know that I have been trying to not allow this to happen because it seems that whenever I race this happens.. I am going to continue to tell myself that I can do it and not allow the bad wolf to get the best of me.

Today I gave into the bad wolf again. It was disappointing because I was hoping to get under 1:50 at least but I know that this is my fault for not pushing myself. I find that before racing I am able to hype myself up and mentally believe that I can do it (this is normal for lots of people), but when it comes to racing I am very hard on myself and mentally am unable to tell myself that I can do it (and I know this is true for a lot of people too..).

During the race the first 2 laps went very good and then when going into the 3rd lap I was really trying to focus on pumping the arm because my legs were giving up.

Running around the inside of the track on the turd caused the outside of my lower legs to be a bit sore today. When going on the elliptical and the bike I felt like I was going more intense that I normally do.

The workout today felt really fast, it felt good to get the legs moving quickly. running by myself today was very mentally challenging because there was no one to push the pace, I was the one that needed to get the pace right. overall felt very smooth and good today.

Today started off not the greatest again, I woke up at 3:30am thinking that mu clock start 6:30am and I was worried that I was late for practice! After that I was pretty restless for the rest of the night. So, I was pretty tired this morning at the start of the workout.

In terms of the workout, I was really focusing on staying up tall and making sure that my arms came out of the water just to my nose level and not above my head.
