Park run. Struggled with the third km but I pushed through and was pleased with my km rates down the hill. Tried drinking more water beforehand which I think was good.

Jog to start, sprint training on the waterfront in the rain, then jog back to the car. It was really nice and calm when we jogged from the car to the start, but then just as we got there it started raining and the wind picked up a bit and continued through the training. Felt quite slow at the start but sped up through the course. Thighs got quite cold in the gap between jogging to the start and beginning the course, and left calf sore towards the end and going back to the car.

to town and back. got to the top of the gorge to discover it was closed so went down old Porirua road and back through Wadestown

30 minutes warm up/drills followed by intervals.
This week we started with 2 km at about 75% pace followed by a 2 minute break then 12 x 200 m stride outs. Felt pretty good through most of the session although I got the stitch for the last interval and warm down.

to/from tutoring. the weather forecast told me that it wouldn't rain but apparently I shouldn't trust it as I got quite wet on the way home. Legs felt good

Up Bells along the skyline to the top of Otari then did a small loop around Otari before coming home down Silversky up Huntleigh park and along the new track. Intended to go for 1:30 but I forget how long it takes to get home from Silversky so added the extra loop. Felt pretty good for most of it, had a few things hurt for short times but nothing too bad. Legs felt really tight on the last couple of hills which I struggled with a little. Overall happy with how it went though
