Running 1:03:46 [4] 8.48 km (7:31 / km) +480m 5:52 / km

Along the new track to Huntleigh, up Silversky and the 4wd track to the skyline, along and down Bells. Felt pretty good to get out for a run, and felt good while running. Tried to push myself on the downhills a bit, and felt fast going down Bells. Had a bit of a shoe issue to begin with, haven't worn my usual ones since nationals and after washing them they have dried solid and I struggled to fit them on... got them on and right one was hurting my foot so just went with old inov-8s today since my other salomons started falling apart at Big Bang

Running 1:03:23 [5] 10.5 km (6:02 / km)

Warm up to Nairnville then did one lap to measure distance then
200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 800, 600, 400, 200 intervals with 200 rest in between.
Felt stuffed after about three but pushed through and started to feel better. The track was 400m but I think I picked the 200m mark slightly wrong so some are a little long and others a little short, but close enough.
Decided to take times after the first 800 so times were
3:14, 4:04, 3:22, 2:28, 1:33, 0:45
Then jogged back home as a warm down. Felt pretty tired after, but it was a good session and I pushed pretty hard.

Orienteering 21:40 [3] 3.1 km (6:59 / km) +70m 6:17 / km

Summer sprint 2. It was quite cold, and despite doing a reasonable amount of jogging my legs refused to warm up before I started, so I had a slow start. Then my head wasn't really in it, I was too distracted by other thoughts, probably not helped by spending all day studying with minimal breaks. Did the long then the short since the courses were so short. Tummy being stupid again too. Probably would have been fine going to running after, but I'm really tired at the moment and don't want to overdo it, and dad said I would be stupid to do both so soon after Big Bang. Enjoyed the second half of the courses which was around the buildings, and managed to pick up the speed a bit in those areas.
