Been feeling coldy since POM so tried a run but 1km in I felt disgusting, my breathing was horrible and just packed in and plodded home.

POM - long
Course wasn't as technical today and was more about running as lots of legs had a clear path route as the best option. Mistake at #6 when I left the path too early as didn't have a clear AP to look for so I knew when to leave. Quickly realised though but route was obviously a lot slower than the path. Lost about 40secs due to bad route. Felt crap running until just before 7 where I had a drink and then was fine after that, gave be a bit of a mental boost to keep pushing I think. Finished 10th.

POM - middle
Wasn't concentrating from the start so made about 2 mins of errors on 1&2. As I was getting #2 I was caught by a girl who finished 3rd on the long so I was determined to stick with her. She wasn't going too fast so I decided to push it and she followed me so we were going fast and hard and she was just behind me until 9 where we both made a mistake because the control was tucked right in and we ran past it. She found it about 1 min before me and didn't see her again until I finished. Finished 17th had about 3.5mins of mistakes so not good!

Knew that id have to go out quite hard if I wanted topic at least top 10 so I did. should've pushed a lot harder up the hill to #9 but its easy to say in hindsight. Finished 8th, 25 secs down on 3rd.
