Decent run - 1st
First 3 just along paths. More technical controls on 4,5,6,7 and was pretty clean minus getting stuck in brambles on the way to 6! 8 took the easy path option. 9 meant to take the path but ended up on a trod instead but then got stuck in brambles on the other side of the hill to the depression, a bit of faffing around here losing 1min. Annoying because I knew exactly where I needed to go but just couldn't get there!! 10 fine then error in the circle at 11, went up reentrant on the right but relocated quite well, 30secs. 12,13,14 fine. Messed up my ankle pretty badly on the brambles coming out of 13 and its swollen and quite sore now. I've got a "gammy leg" according to my mates hahaha

British Night Champs - 1st
Good 1,2. Small miss in the circle at 3 - 10secs. Mistake at 4 but quickly relocated 1min ish. 5 - drifted right on my compass bearing and hit fence too far right, spotted a bridge and stile so pegged it to there, crossed it and pegged it along the path and in, about 1.30 lost. 6,7,8,9 fine then had a clear plan to 10 (despite missing the easy path route) and took it. Got to the first spur and was meant to turn right but had a complete brain fart and stood there like "where's the control???' Stupid error but sorted it lost 2mins, didn't relocate/think quickly enough. Not a great run but kept going and managed to win, was a pretty tough area too so everyone was making mistakes, didn't do very good but it was good enough :)

Netball West Cumbria Tournament - WINNERS
20 min WU, 6 x 10 min matches
Lost 5-4 (haven’t played together in 2 months, not match ready basically), Won 9-0, 5-1, 10-2, 7-4, 12-2
We were drawing on points with St Bennies but won on goal difference, they had 41 scored, 36 conceded we had 47 scored, 14 conceded.

Rugby tournament
20 min WU- passing, lineouts, scrums
3 x 24min matches. Lost 2 (netherhall&workington) Won 1 (Solway/BeaconHill) Some of our players not there but played quite well. Took us a while to get into it, just don’t have the massive well built players like they do.
Got high-tackled by a girl who plays for St.Helens and is really aggressive: was being swung around by my neck and shoulders so I let go of the ball because it hurt so bad but then she shoved me into the ground by my neck and pushed my shoulders into the ground as she stood up. Really hurt and couldn’t feel my left shoulder/neck at all and my right shoulder/neck was hurting very bad. Carried on playing though as didn’t wanna let the team down.

Sale Fell with dad & dog. Feeling strong on the climbs today even tho still coldy. Nice to be out on the fells :)

rest day tomorrow as rugby tournament then netball training on weds, netball tournament on Thurs. Annoying atm because I have mock exams in 3 weeks so need to be revising and it’s getting near peak O season and I need to be training a lot these 3 weeks too!! trying to make a plan to balance it out a tad.
