very very very very scrappy
pippa caught me (2mins) at #3 after i went to the wrong spur not looking at my compass. Too many mistakes after this as well to write up. Got back in front at #14 after getting dropped by pip at #6 and managed to pull back a minute. Did 300m extra than Scarlet so just shows how bad I was. Still in among it for tomorrow tho. Hopefully better in the long.

JK Sprint - 5th (4th Brit)
gods sake. 30s of mistakes. #7 - knew i was in the right place, didn’t see it, ran out, stopped, read my map, crap, ran back in again, got it. Nice en! Then also cocked up exit of #12 as was reading my map and then missed the gate to #13 and lost 26s to Scarlet on this. Miles behind Rachel and Pip but would’ve been somewhere near 3rd minus my stupid mistakes. Also heat killed my speed but same for everyone on that.

hungry and tired so just walked/jogged but nav was mostly good, only one miss where i ran past the kite and another where i was slightly too low on the rocks
