10 AM

Running 3:26:52 [3] 24.33 km (8:30 / km)

Substantial run in the Peaks almost reaching max height of 2100ft MSL, hitting these summits in order: The Tower (460m), Alport Moor (535m), Bleaklow Stones (630m), Higher Shelf Stones (622m). Really satisfying run, with amazing views & weather, and the legs didn't feel battered at the end.

Running 1:45:00 [3] 13.5 km (7:47 / km)

Out on top path and back along Stannington ridgeline, dropping back into the valley. Felt good, but obviously wasn't an idiot and didn't destroy the legs.

Friday May 17 #

Running 1:10:05 [3] 11.0 km (6:22 / km)

Pleasant Riv loop with extra in Crookes, in very high humidity so plenty of sweat was shed, with some ShUOC / SPOOK peoples.

Thursday May 16 #

Running 1:30:00 [4] 14.5 km (6:12 / km)

2.1km jog down the hill via Endcliffe.

Tough but solid session: 50% recovery throughout, (30s x2, 1min x2, 2min x2, 3min x2, 2min x2, 1min x2, 30s x2) all repeated again.

2.3km jog back up via Morrisons.

Running warm up/down 18:00 [2] 2.7 km (6:40 / km)

WU jog to spectate + drills.

Running race 18:00 [5] 5.0 km (3:36 / km)

Rother Valley Relays - Mixed, 4th Leg
Thought I paced the run very well, still unsure about my exact time, but I thought I did well enough for me, and felt quite smooth & quick all the way round. Good fun, but over very quickly compared to what I'm used to.

Running 10:00 [2] 1.7 km (5:53 / km)

Rather quick cool down, definitely did not cool down.

Monday May 13 #

Running 55:26 [3] 8.8 km (6:18 / km)

ShUOC EZ run, usual loop along Fulwood road & up around through Crosspool. Legs feeling fine after the weekend and ready to get into some solid training, to get ready for the important Autumn races.
