Loch Laggan > Corrieyairack Pass > Fort Augustus > Great Glen Way > Inverness

Long day today - was riding at 05.30. Very cold at the start, was wearing all my clothes riding and breaking ice on puddles going along the trails.

Ardverikie Wall looked stunning in a frozen sunrise. Golden sunlight and mist everywhere. The Corrieyairack Pass was quite tough, spent a lot of time pushing up the steep, rocky switchbacks. The ride down the north side was a joy - just wish my breaks-pads were more up for it. Good fun getting stung by gorse bushes in the final 200M. Stopped in Fort Augustus to stuff my face for 20 mins.

The Great Glen Way was surprisingly tough - very steep & tech in places. Did not help that I was completely spanked by this point. An exciting couple of moments going over the handlebars.

Was very happy to get to Inverness train station after 11 hours in the saddle - a class ride!
