Stopped for a minute or so to chat to people at the Parkrun.

Took it hand for the first mile or so but felt good once I got going.

Amazingly/bizarrely my knee felt fine after a lie in. The muscles around it were a bit dull, but not sore. Took it easy on the warm-up but everything seemed fine.

Did the work out on the football pitches at Pollock Park - knee felt fine throughout. Absolutely freezing in Glasgow - far colder than Fort William.

Could feel a slight pain in my knee towards the end of the warm-down, so walked the last km back to my flat.

Drove back from Fort William this afternoon. Towards the end of the drive I had a fairly severe pain in my left knee. Tried to go for an easy run in the evening but that just seemed to make it worse so I backed off. Iced and stretched at home. Still, the knee was painful enough to wake me up for an hour or so at 3am; really struggled to get in a comfortable position to sleep.

A quick trot up Beinn an Dothaidh by Bridge of Orchy with Sophie. A bit hillier than ideal, but consistent running on decent paths. Went the wrong way off the summit in failing light so needed some nav correction on the way down.
