SCREEL HILL RACE
Wasn't sure how this was going to go. Started strong at the front. Managed to trip up Rob Simpson on the start-line (heard a scream and felt his hands on my back but didn't stop to find out what happened) - resulting in some nasty scraped knees for the Shettleston man.
Went hard for about 2 minutes but could feel my temperature rising and things were already feeling hard. Decided that this wasn't going to be my day and jogged around the course instead. Terrible result but at least I got the Championship tick.
Morning meeting ran on so a shorter run than planned. Left leg still feels a bit sore after the Tuesday run. Also have a blocked nose, cold-like sweats. Well be getting on the lemsip tonight.

Run in to work with Ruth through Pollock Park.
A moment's distraction and an upturned paving stone meant I decked it by Eglington Toll - one bloody knee and two scraped hands. Avoided stride-outs as my leg was a bit sore after the fall.
