ARROCHAR ALPS HILL RACE

A beast of a race this one - an a champs counter to boot. A hot, muggy day throughout, tapps aff all the way.

Ben Vorlich - Not bad, even got a good descent.
Ben Vane - A bit of a grind, but found the top OK despite 0 visibility.
Ben Ime - Starting to feel it.
Ben Narnain - Spent by the top, was slow on the descent.

Not a great race. Went too quickly at the start and paid for it later. Didn't help that it was hot throughout - felt like I was constantly on the verge of over heating (my ears pop) and had to stop a couple of times to sit in a burn to cool down. The occassional freezing hail helped. Thunder & lightening coming off Narnain - terrifying.
