A lap of Pollok Park and then some hill sprints near the flat.

Legs were still feeling a bit battered from yesterday on the run, but the sprints made them feel a bit more lively.

STAG URBAN ORIENTEERING - BRIDGETOWN

My urban orienteering debut. A surprisingly fun and challenging event. F**ked up the first 10 minutes and didn't find a single letter box but once I got my head in the game, I managed to do quite well. Missed two controls - had to turn back half way to the last one to avoid the cut-off.

Generally going about 6.30 pace, which did not feel easy - how did I ever run a marathon?!

Had commitments this evening and was held up at work so a slightly shorted run than I would've hoped.

Weirdly enjoyed this run a lot, probably the first non-easy flat run in a while so it felt great to be pushing the pace just a bit.

Sometimes slow is good but fast is better like someone said?

Running 59:33 [3] 7.39 mi (8:03 / mi)
ahr:144 max:172 slept:8.5 shoes: Nike Zoom Span 2

A run at lunchtime along the Clyde with stride-outs along the Green.

Quads still felt a bit battered after yesterday, but I was moving quite well; had to consciously slow it down to stay at 8 miles p/m.

Strength & Conditioning 35:00 [3]

Legs still stiff from the Sunday run - quads too sore to use the foam roller on.

ahr:153 max:184 slept:8.0 shoes: Red Inov-8 Mudlaws

Two laps of Ben Lomond in the wind & the rain.

Still a slight ache in my foot, but it didn't get any worse while running; didn't impede running. The last 30 mins was pretty tough but I managed to keep a good pace to the end.
