Took slightly longer to cycle to Tollcross Park than I'd planned, so a slightly shorter warm-up than desirable. Freezing day - my fingers were numb arriving at the park.

GAAEG Session @ Tollcross. 6*4 min/2 min easy. Quite a hilly loop.

Splits: 0.71, 0.70, 0.68, 0.68, 0.68, 0.68. Tried to mark Iain Reid throughout.

A hard session this one. Felt strong and in control for the first 4.5 efforts, the last 4 mins was a bit desperate; not sure I could have kept the pace for another one.

Pottarch to Banchory along the Deeside Way, back again and then some to make up the time. Nice undulating dirt paths and forestry tracks.

Legs pretty gubbed after yesterday's session, stiff and tired. Took a while to get warmed up enough for a feeling of fluidity.

Aberdeenshire looking stunning in an Autumnal-stylee. F**king freezing though - leaving my leggings in Glasgow was a bad move.
