Run (Easy run with Indie) 1:20:00 [1] 8.1 mi (9:53 / mi)
ahr:134 max:156 slept:8.0

Easy run with Indie along river bank and back lanes
Felt very slow and tired! Had to slow right down to keep HR low and not work too hard. Had a bit of a sulk with myself as it just felt so slow ( my interanl dialog was saying that doing 80 min so soon after a moderate run felt like a waste of time and I was just putting in junk miles - though this was my own issue and I appreciate the plan is structured how it is for a reason so sucked it up and got on with it! I suspect I am getting a bit bored of running around the tracks at home to be honest!
Indie also cleared off at the end - bouncing around in a potatoe field trying to catch rabbits - funny but annoying when you want to keep running!

moderate run (Moderate run- Ryton lanes) 1:00:00 [4] 8.7 mi (6:54 / mi)
ahr:162 max:173 slept:8.0

Moderate run down Ryton lane - Used the flattest road around here though a bit windy and muggy
Set of ok, feeling as though it was moderate or slightly higher, pleased with leg turnover, turned around at half way and faded (after about 30min) HR increased and pace dropped so eased back a bit for a mile, picked it up again in the last 3 miles but was working harder and higher HR - suspect a bit above "moderate" effort.
I have not done this type of sustained effort for this period for a long while, especially on flat road at speed, though I am finding it hard I am please to be doing it, feel it will make a big difference.

Run with hill sprints (Easy run - back lanes ) 1:00:00 [2] 6.1 mi (9:50 / mi)
ahr:135 max:152 slept:8.0

Easy run around town with hill sprints to corner shop
Trying to keep it steady in order to feel ok for next days moderate session, HR a bit high so slowed down, Hill sprints felt ok, a few kids hanging around so I ropped them into a race rather than getting heckled - they soon got tired and cleared off - wusses!

Run (Easy run on the moors) 1:12:00 [2] 8.1 mi (8:53 / mi)

Easy run on the moors after work - felt v tired but suspect it was more to do with overdoing things a bit the day before - also suffering a bit with GI discomfort - putting this down to some sesame seeds from Monday night as not been right since -
Did some strideouts in the last 2 miles which helped ease things a bit - nice route though with a good long climb :-)

Run with Strides (Easy run around town) 50:00 [2] 6.5 mi (7:42 / mi)
ahr:149 max:156

Easy run - through town and out the back of Norton - finishing off with 6 x strides
Resting HR before was nice and low 42bpm - back to normal!
Felt like I wanted to go a bit so holding back, probably right on the edge maybe slightly over "easy" effort level, interesting HR jumped up a bit after 30, so maybe just lacking a bit of fitness.
Strides felt good and fun, starting to feel I can do these a bit further without them taxing me - last two up to 100m and could hold form so happy

Run with Strides (Easy run with Indie) 1:00:00 [1] 5.5 mi (10:55 / mi)

Very easy and steady run around back lanes with a friend and Indie, finishing off with 2 x drill circuit - nice and easy - good session

Bike (Easy bike with friends) 2:30:00 [1]

27 miles
Very easy bike over the moors with friends to check out a new bike cafe in the middle of the moors - very very slow! Though had a good blast down a very fast hill hitting 41mph and missing sheep! :-)
8 AM

Run (Easy run with Indie & Kim) 1:00:00 [1] 4.6 mi (13:03 / mi)
ahr:123 max:157 slept:7.5

Easy run along coast path from Cayton bay the down the cliff to secret beach for some drills and scrambling along the rocks.
Really easy steady run, felt ok, nice to play and run along/across the rocks instead of using the coast path - definitely one to do again, did drills on a out of the way beach with Kim - nice session!
