Note
OK. This slothfulness has got to stop. Over the last few months my level of exercise has dwindled and I feel pathetic. But now is the time to turn a new leaf. (I can't believe I just started a sentence with 'but'....terrible syntax.) Inspired by a 13km run in Central Park and an excellent abs DVD workout, both with Bender, I've decided to get back in the game. It's a bit challenging, though, with three nights a week already spoken for, so I'm going to try getting to the gym before work. I am by no means a morning person and peeling myself out of bed is probably my biggest daily challenge, but this is the time I have to work with and you work with what you've got, right? We'll see how it goes....
Running warm up/down (treadmill) 7:00 [2]
Running (Treadmill) 29:58 [4] 5.0 km (6:00 / km)
Not bad for an out of shape gal, but could be better. Something to work on. Also a tough call on the sound inspiration. I love listening to MetroMorning on the CBC, so I did that, but it doesn't have the same push that a good beat and a favourite song can give.
Strength 20:00 [2]
Mostly worked on inner and outer thigh, arms and upper back, and abs. Limited time. Wow, my push-ups aren't what they were 3 months ago....only got through two sets of 14. Weak.
