This honestly could probably not have gone worse. I felt awful from the very beginning and it only got worse. I was running at the pace that I used to run my long runs at, and struggling to keep it up for 1k. I was also supposed to be doing at least 4 but I couldn't bring myself to do a fourth. Feeling extremely frustrated and like all of the base building since January has been pretty much for nothing after two months of not really training.

This was an ok run. It was raining pretty hard when I started and it continued to pour throughout my run and when I came back I was able to wring out my shirt, but because it was warmer it wasn't too bad. I struggled a bunch in the circle (and just around it) because I kept having a general route choice but no solid plan for my approach, and I didn't really visualize the control circles.
Kinda annoyed at myself because Erin wanted us to be thinking specifically about focus this week and I didn't really think about it at all. It definitely would have helped to because I think a large reason for my lack of solid plan was that I wasn't really focused on the process I needed to be using to make a plan and execute it well.
Having taped my knee it felt ok, just a few moments of pain when I twisted it weirdly, but nothing bad.

Slow with my mom and Wendy around Whipple Hill. I was going to do the long run plan that Erin sent and run home, picking up the pace, but my knee didn't feel good so I decided against it. It makes me wonder if the KT tape I wore last weekend actually did help so I'm going to try it again for tomorrow and see how my knee feels with it.
