Orienteering 1:15:00 [3] 4.24 mi (17:41 / mi) +99m 16:29 / mi
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212

Trail Route Choice training at the fells thanks to Ethan.
Done kind of like a grass is lava training: we stopped at each control and one person chose one route, the other chose a different route, but we could go off trail as much as we wanted to (although the green is bad enough that it's not a very good option a lot of the time).
I started with Ian F. and then we kinda joined Christina and my Mom, and then Ian and Christina eventually split off, leaving me, my mom, and Izzy who had joined us.
It definitely showed that I hadn't orienteered in a long time through my compass use and close map reading, but I should be getting out most weekends in the upcoming weeks (I say that but it is also about to be my school musical which is going to make life hard).
(This time includes the time standing around at controls)

Oof. This was a long day.
Woke up at 5:50 so I could do my long run, then I had a rehearsal from 9-1:30 for which I was doing a lot of running around, then I went to a concert in town to support friends, and then I worked from 4-10. I just want to sleep for a day now.
