Billygoat!!!

These woods were absolutely beautiful: I wish there were woods up in MA that looked like these.

So this was alright at times, and quite awful at other times. I was with Wyatt until about half way to 4, and then I cut 5 but was slow so he caught back up to me by 7. I stuck with him until 11 where he went running off, and I had no plan so I slowed down. You might think that slowing down would mean that I would come up with a plan, but you would be wrong. If you look at my map, you'll see that I wandered my way to the control, with some of the worst route choices and compass work you'll ever see. I was getting tired and dehydrated by that point, which definitely was not helping my mental processing. I got it back together a bit after 13, but by that point I had probably lost 6-7 minutes (I'll be interested to look at splits).

I was forcing myself to run slower because I wasn't supposed to be doing any more today, but that really threw off my focus. Ended up just very out of it. No big mistakes or anything, just some dumb moments.
