Brief review and thoughts:
I definitely didn't get the same technical challenge because it was my second time doing the course, but it was nice to fix a few of my mistakes (namely my route choice to twelve). I felt pretty awful the whole way through (because of my cold) which led to some slow running and a bit of a foggy mind. Also had a time to four when both of my calves cramped up and I couldn't run and had to take time to try and stretch them out (which only kind of worked). Luckily they eased out by five to six, but it was not fun for all of four. Overall though, it was really nice to get back into these woods, just wish I hadn't come back to the car to see AJ limping around in a ton of pain due to a bad ankle twist (sprain? tear? Idk). It's going to be a bunch of solo runs for me for the next week or two at least.

Happy Mountain Day!!

Dragged the housemates along with me to walk up Pimple Hill in place of Mt. Holyoke. Was absolutely beautiful and a whole lot of fun.

Now I'm making apple crisp to celebrate the day.
