So uh, so 4 then...

I got a knock on my door this morning telling me to call a number, which was that of a residence hall coordinator who told me that my test had come back positive and that I needed to pack up and would get a call from the isolation coordinator in a bit. Got that call, called the one person I had been in close contact with, and then took all my stuff and walked across campus. I am now in my isolation room in which I am stuck in for at least the next ten days.

Feeling extremely frustrated because I've been so careful about it all, and now I've got stuck in isolation anyways. I'm also really scared about who I may have passed it on to, though I suppose I will never really know that.

So all you people that currently have snow and fresh air, can you go out and enjoy it for me please? Thanks.

rhr:46 slept:7.0 (sick)

Another update: I went to bed last night with a bit of a headache and woke up this morning with a much worse headache and a stuffy nose. Now, there are a few possibilities to why:
1. I'm stressed as hell so I've been clenching my jaw and that's set my head off.
2. I haven't been sleeping well so I've just got a bit of a cold that will go away soon.
3. A combination of 1 and 2
4. I have Covid.

Now, in the past when I had this issue, I would've thought "I haven't been in contact with anyone, there is pretty much no way that I could have Covid", but right now it's actually very likely that I have come in contact with someone that has/d Covid, so there is actually a chance that I do too.

The kinda dumb thing is that they still have everyone in my Residence Hall going to the dining hall, so they have all of these people that possibly have Covid wandering through the dining hall where everyone else on campus also goes. As I feel sick, I don't feel very comfortable with that, but I also don't really have a choice if I want to get food. So just a bit of a dilemma...

Gave myself a little time to nap, felt a bit better for a while after, and then my head started to hurt again...We thrivin'

Do be trying this auto-upload thing, though I'm not sure I'm going to like it tbh...

rhr:53 slept:6.0 (rest day)

I just don't want to talk about it....

Update: as of 1:00 today, my residence hall has been put into quarantine and we are not allowed to leave our rooms except to go to the bathroom and to grab food. This will be the case until at least Wednesday, so I will not be going to my first Track practices, and won't be running for the next few days... :(

Feeling pretty good today, though my phone hated the cold and died half way through so I was running laps in silence which was a bit sad.

Definitely need to get back to wearing my chest strap HRM because my watch one doesn't seem very accurate (I really don't think my heartrate was higher today than it was yesterday during my workout...)

Very chilly morning

Warm-up with Sarah and Syd

Running 19:50 [4] 4.34 km (4:34 / km) +54m 4:18 / km
ahr:144 max:156 shoes: Nike Air Zoom Pegusus 36

1x 1k @ 4:12 w/ 1/2x rest, 1x 3k @ 4:27

Actually: 4:07, 4:20 so a bit fast, think everything just felt different because of how chilly it was

I was really struggling throughout this because the mask I was wearing was suctioning to my face at a whole new level compared to the other ones I usually wear, so I felt a but suffocated throughout the whole thing and had to keep pulling it away from my face a bit. Not a great time.

Did the whole thing with Sarah as she had the same workout as me, and saw Syd and Amanda out on the loop as well.

Running warm up/down 15:30 [3] 2.5 km (6:12 / km) +33m 5:49 / km
ahr:135 max:147 shoes: Nike Air Zoom Pegusus 36

Had the weird 1k @ 4:27 within the cool down again

Mask was still bothering me but it was whatever, also ran into Sophia so we were a bit slow as we chatted with her.

Running intervals 33:30 [4] 5.97 km (5:37 / km) +50m 5:23 / km
ahr:166 max:180 shoes: Nike Air Zoom Pegusus 36

3x (200, 2x400) double time rest

45, 85, 95
47, 86, 92
46, 88, 91

(Supposed to be 46, 92, 92)

Did this with a teammate which was really lovely. Still not allowed on the track so it was on a mapmyrun estimate of 200 and 400 which seems to have been reasonably accurate. So ready for actual practices to start up

Running warm up/down 15:00 [3] 2.54 km (5:54 / km) +39m 5:29 / km
ahr:165 max:175 shoes: Nike Air Zoom Pegusus 36

Cool down with 1k @4:26 (so only kinda a cool down?)

We were a bit fast - 4:13
