Friday Feb 5 #

slept:8.75 (sick)

Have a bit of a headache, still feeling really tired and my whole body is just achy and heavy. Nose isn't too bad, cough is kinda there.
10 PM

10:45, ate a spoonful of PB and realized half way through that I was not actually tasting it at all. Sooooo, I guess my sense of taste is now gone. Can only just smell as well, so I have a feeling that is going to go as well. Check off both of those symptoms!
Headache is starting to come back stronger (was never really gone but it wasn't as bad), nose is a little stuffy but I'm about to take meds for it so it doesn't bother me while I sleep, and I'm feeling pretty exhausted. Once again feels like I've just done a hard work out all day.

Thursday Feb 4 #

rhr:45 slept:9.25 (sick)

Woke up with a bit of a headache, a sore throat, and a little bit of a cough. Nose is particularly stuffy today.

Got some meds from the health center delivered, so the nose and head could be tamed a bit. Nothing that can be done for the exhaustion other than sleep though (and I suppose caffeine but that doesn't count)

Wednesday Feb 3 #

rhr:54 slept:9.0 (sick)

Woke up and before I moved my head was alright, but as soon as I got up and started to do things the headache came back full force. Also feeling quite physically exhausted this morning.

Last night was a time trying to fall asleep as the headache was bad enough it was making the roof of my mouth and teeth hurt (idk if that makes sense, but it was happening...)
10 PM

My chest has started to feel a tad tight, and I'm coughing a bit which is pretty scary to be honest. Going to track it and hopefully it doesn't get worse.

Umm, the fact that my heartrate got up to 124 while stretching is a little scary...

Tuesday Feb 2 #

rhr:52 slept:8.75 (sick)

So uh, so 4 then...

I got a knock on my door this morning telling me to call a number, which was that of a residence hall coordinator who told me that my test had come back positive and that I needed to pack up and would get a call from the isolation coordinator in a bit. Got that call, called the one person I had been in close contact with, and then took all my stuff and walked across campus. I am now in my isolation room in which I am stuck in for at least the next ten days.

Feeling extremely frustrated because I've been so careful about it all, and now I've got stuck in isolation anyways. I'm also really scared about who I may have passed it on to, though I suppose I will never really know that.

So all you people that currently have snow and fresh air, can you go out and enjoy it for me please? Thanks.

Monday Feb 1 #

rhr:46 slept:7.0 (sick)

Another update: I went to bed last night with a bit of a headache and woke up this morning with a much worse headache and a stuffy nose. Now, there are a few possibilities to why:
1. I'm stressed as hell so I've been clenching my jaw and that's set my head off.
2. I haven't been sleeping well so I've just got a bit of a cold that will go away soon.
3. A combination of 1 and 2
4. I have Covid.

Now, in the past when I had this issue, I would've thought "I haven't been in contact with anyone, there is pretty much no way that I could have Covid", but right now it's actually very likely that I have come in contact with someone that has/d Covid, so there is actually a chance that I do too.

The kinda dumb thing is that they still have everyone in my Residence Hall going to the dining hall, so they have all of these people that possibly have Covid wandering through the dining hall where everyone else on campus also goes. As I feel sick, I don't feel very comfortable with that, but I also don't really have a choice if I want to get food. So just a bit of a dilemma...

Gave myself a little time to nap, felt a bit better for a while after, and then my head started to hurt again...We thrivin'
