Sunday Jan 14

athletics (pentathlon) 3:00:00 [5]
England Champs at EIS Sheffield, 22/26, pretty good set of performances apart from hurdles which I lost about 150 points on. 60H 11.14 (really not good as I ran 10.19 last weekend), HJ 1.53, SP 7.68 (indoor pb), LJ 4.71, 800 2.54 (indoor pb). Total points 2444, though was really hoping for somewhere in the region of 2600 and would have got that if it wasnt for hurdles. Also thought the 800 was a bit quicker - it felt faster than 2.54! Always a lot harder indoors though.

Felt much better, so hopefully have fought off whatever it was that was making me feel ill yesterday
running race (800m) 2:54 [5]0.8 km (3:37 / km)
shoes: Adidas MD spikes
800m at the end of pentathlon, reasonable run and nice to be in race with people of my standard for once!

Saturday Jan 13

orienteering 45:00 [2]*** 3 km (15:00 / km) +100m 12:51 / km
shoes: Adidas Swoop
Training with SWJS at Ham Hill, wasn't feeling too well when I started running so ended up just jogging, and brain wasn't really in gear after. Sat out after one ex cos didn't want to make myself any more tired or susceptible to illness with multis tomorrow and exams next week.

Thursday Jan 11

swimming 25:00 [3]0.85 km (29:25 / km)
Swimming at Thornbury as a relaxing session to ease stiffness from this weeks activity before combined events. Felt much better afterwards.

Tuesday Jan 9

circuits (stroud AC) 40:00 [4]
Forgotten how hard circuits can be! Haven't been to Stroud for too long...
weights 25:00 [3]
In gym with Dave at Archway. Just introduction to some free weights stuff, dead lifts and bench press mostly, as well as some squats and calf raises.
