| Intercounties XC, Bute Park, Cardiff. Started too fast and although I had warmed up well, it was a good 20 mins before the start of the race. Asthma just hit me 250m in, kept jogging/walking to take inhaler hoping it would subside and that I would be able to pick up the pace again, but after 2km was showing no signs of getting better so I just gave up - there was no point in continuing cos I was so far back with only 1 girl behind me. Really frustrating cos I was really up for it and wanted to run well. |

| Was planning on doing an intervals session but after the warmup my chest had totally seized up, tried running hard but just couldn't maintain it for more than 100m so there was no point. Cold night, and windy, so did some javelin instead |

| A few intervals with Lucy and Beth on the field at lunchtime to give them a final session before intercounties XC at the weekend. Short session because we only had about 25 mins or so, so that they had time to eat! 4x400 with 2 mins rest. |

| Steady, short run from school, would have been longer but LPD kept me talking for ages so only had 20 mins! Easy, cos still a bit stiff and tired from the weekend. |
