Sunday Feb 4

spiked:10/10c weight:62kg shoes: Adidas Swoop
BOK event Worlebury Woods, bit of a grotty area and half the course was contouring, other half was really nice though. Going easy cos stiff from last 3 days, and wanted to concentrate on getting a good breathing rhythm and avoiding asthma probs. Pretty pleased with run, clean and not as unfit as I feared!

Saturday Feb 3

MCAA Champs, 4th U20 4.59, legs feeling really dead and didn't really have much to give, couldn't get any speed up. 4.49, 4.40, 4.52, 4.42, 4.47, 4.59. Consistent, but 30cm down on where I wanted to be. 4.78 for bronze medal.

MCAA Champs, 3rd. Jumped 1.55 in the end although the warm up was atrocious and my technique went to pot! Not quite sure how I cleared 1.55 really, but had a couple of vaguely decent attempts at 1.60.

Friday Feb 2

2012 Squad training - concentrated on hurdles with Margaret, managed 3 strides over 4 hurdles but one notch down.

Some hurdle drills for mobility and speed.

4 full runs over 4 hurdles, 100m distance but 0.76 height to practise strides. Got it on two of the runs, when she was shouting at me!

Thursday Feb 1

Really good session, came on a lot and was throwing 19-20 from standing. Still going easy on the running cos asthma isn't great and I'm not quite over the illness.
strength/conditioning (hurdle drills) 10:00 [3]
Hurdle drills, walk overs and leg overs.

Bounding and stuff.

3x200 with rest of walking round track in between. Accelerating slowly for first 100 then flat out for the straight.

Circuits in the gym to finish off.
