| Interland race - freezing cold and soaking wet! Was a reserve so ended up running 6km course rather than 8km which was good cos I dont think I would have been up to 8. Ran well for the start, couple of mistakes toward the end with about 6 mins time loss overall. Found it quite hard to motivate myself as I had nobody to really compete against or compare myself to, and the weather was miserable! But ran well all the same despite not having done much for months and missing so much training - was tiring towards the end so endurance definitely needs to be built up again. Also early start didn't help, although I was in bed early the night before, we got up at 0630 - 0530 UK time! Body clock hadn't quite adjusted to that!
Wasn't hugely keen on the area, bit scrappy underfoot with brashings and stuff, not particularly nice in any bit but not really nasty either. |

| Interland training, went with Bex and talked about terrain, map, decisions etc as we went. Took it slowly but no real mistakes. |

| Missed FCC in the Lakes again on Sunday cos went down with a bug/sore throat/cough on Thurs and didn't feel up to it. Still coughing but feeling a lot better in myself today, so did light HJ session at Bath (seeing as I was down there anyway). |

| Abs circuit at the start of the session! Was a killer...hardly managed to complete it, hit the abs very hard, tummy will really ache tomorrow! 25x 8 types of situps then plank rotations x2, each held for 30s |

| Game of tennis with Rhodri in the afternoon, was good to play again as last time was in the Lakes in the summer! Played v well considering! Nice day for it aswell. |
