Event: HOC National Event, Brown Clee
 
orienteering race 53:52 [4]*** 4.5 km (11:58 / km) +125m 10:31 / km
spiked:12/16c shoes: Olway Tiger
National Event Brown Clee. Pretty hot, but the breeze on the top was nice. Wearing white ankle brace - much more comfortable than the boots. Was fine when I could see where I was putting my feet but felt weak at times, and cautious when tussocky. No after effects though - so far. 1st on W20S, out of one, yay!

Swimming at lunchtime as stiff from training this week. Really nice actually, pool was cool for once and quiet! 5x250m with a couple of mins in between.

High Jump ok but not great. Shot going really well - releasing it nicely tonight. 8.50 ish on almost every throw.

High Jump 1.50 though hardly any arch, still a SB just on pure plyometric strength. Reconstructed run up. Shot going very but v wet.

So-so session, better than last time but thats not saying much. Still going up on toes, not getting forward momentum.

3x lead leg, 2x trail leg. Feeling good, getting some speed up.

6x40m sprints. For the first time since ankle, felt like I was getting close to max speed. Ankle didn't hurt, but did feel weak as if I can't keep on toes for a decent period of time.
