Tour de Dannevirke
when I was a boy, going to town meant a 60 minute drive to Dannevirke, it is not a running paradise. Didi pass through Pongaroa today, now that was a good place to grow up in the late 70s and 80s. we were feral little bastards.

edit: it was also formalized today that I am the greatest pool player to have ever lived in the world (or pongaroa). When I smashed my brother in the pub we grew up in, again. at ages 47 & 48 the competitive streak is still there, and mum is still not amused, hahahahaha.
