Over the campsite to the start of three shires, up the valley, a steep climb up Wetherlam, Swirl How, and then back down the valley for a pub lunch and a beer.

My first very long run with Charlie.
Started steady and was about middle of the pack at Helvellyn, then surged through the field and finished 13th!
Excellent considering it's been 4 weeks of training!

P&B Tuesday training: 3 minute intervals
Felt really hard on the lungs but I quickly found my old speed. I felt good for most of the efforts but really struggled getting power on the up hills. This strength will come with time.

Rachel's Monday session that focused on hips. Afterwards I was walking like a liberated crab.
