This was a reqwarding but painful race. It was never about getting a fast pace for this run, my pace was slow but this race was all about completion and keeping on running when the majority of others just walk. It wasn't my best race day either though I got really nervous and let that get the better of me. Looking back now I do wish I had pushed a little harder, but it was a tough race to guage what was coming next up the hill.

This run was brutal today! Felt like a really slow pace and I’m starting to worry that the training hasn’t got me as prepared as I would like for this race on Saturday. The knee and foot were tender to run in today. Was really looking forward to the pool workout tomorrow but the pool is back under maintenance after being open for 1 week !

This was a pretty good run. Really enjoyed the first half but by the second half my hip and foot was bothering me and I felt sick and slightly like a wreck! Didn’t do the strides today simply due to a time crunch. There is a 75 min foam rolling/yoga strength class that I attended which I found great and something different for my recovery.

I really didn’t want to do this workout. Something about the three sets made me dread this run but I went out and did it anyways. The warmup felt slow and sluggish and it took until the last two sets of tempo where I was feeling the good of the workout, it was a grind in that last set but a good workout when not feeling the best for the run.

Little bit of a hot run today, was a grind to keep going up the hill but got it done. Week to go before the hilly race. The shoulder got a bit sore on the way down.
