Quote- “It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it’s only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn’t. They kept going, because they were holding on to something. That there is some good in this world, and it's worth fighting for.” - J.R.R Tolkien

First brazillian! Such a beautiful workout, what I like about this workout is that there is no thinking involved, just pushing. I am happy with this workout.

X country (pool) 45:00 [3]

6mins of swimming
Drills
3 x (5 x 40s) intervals
Deep water running till 45 (8 minutes?)
Hip mobility
3 strides (75, 85, 95)
Med Ball exercises 2kg
Soccer vs wrestlers

Arguably the best pool workout yet. I swam the entire time without stopping, crushed intervals Hr 29, and forced myself to deep water run with hands out of the water. The deep water running was definitely the most impressive of these, I was in a lot of pain and working my ass off to not sink, my breathing was a little bit ridiculous and I got some weird looks from the team, but I definitely got what I wanted out of it.

We lost to the wrestlers 3-1

15 up
20 tempo
2min hard 1 rest x3
15 down

I was very happy with the tempo today. I shut my eyes and just focused on moving my legs and I found I could move a bit faster. Warmup was really fast and it almost felt like another tempo.

Good long run, it felt a lot shorter than it usually does. Very slippery trails but I didn't fall thankfully.

Strong workout, only issue I have witht his workout was losing my form in the middle of the second set. I regained control but I lost it again on the very last hill.

X country (swim) 45:00 [0]

45 minutes swimming and deep water running

I told myself I wouldn't leave until I had swam 4 lengths in a row. I surprised myself and swam 8 lengths in a row!!! I am super excited and happy about this improvement. I could really use some goggles, it felt like I burnt off my retinas when I got out of the pool. I did 6 minutes of deep water running with my hands behind my head.
