X country (RACE) 10:00 [3]

Wisconsin Superior Yellowjackets
3km
10:00.66

Great Race! The goals in this race were to push myself, be calm and smooth off the start, and use up all my energy so I couldn't kick at the end. And to beat 10 mins.

I hit the first 3 goals on the nose, and I am super happy with how I raced today! I started the race slow and controlled, and even passed dylan and hung on to someone for the first half.

The 4th goal however, is the most frustrating thing I have ever experienced, and I am so mad, and it is forcing me to question my effort through the race, and make me think that I could have pushed harder. But if I'm totally honest with myself I did push myself and it was a good race. And I could have pushed myself another 66 milliseconds for sure.

Great long run. It was very cold but very beatiful and a great experience running on the river and watching the sunrise! Muscles are sore but I can't feel any pain that indicates any injuries, which is nice.
