Saturday May 5 #

11 AM

Running 1:00:00 [3] 12.0 km (5:00 / km)

Pre-act, 15 up, full active, 1500m race (4:04), 10 barefoot, 10 normal cooldown, hip mobility, stretch, roll, heel drops, ice.

Awesome race today. I was informed that I should be in a position to win going into it, so I wanted to be right up with the leaders the whole time. Ended up going straight to the front where my plan was to surge if anyone tried to pass me. Worked pretty well, I was in super deep early on but attacked the third lap and just FIJG'd it on the last lap.

Friday May 4 #

Running 45:00 [3] 9.0 km (5:00 / km)

Pre-act, 15 up, full active, hip mobility, stretch, roll, ice.

Good shakeout this morning with D-man, calf is feeling good, still going hard on the recovery for it so I'm good for tomorrow.

Running 10:00 [3] 2.22 km (4:30 / km)

Nice post car ride shakeout run. Got in some good stretching and iced to get the stiffness out of the legs. Very excited for tomorrow.

Thursday May 3 #

6 AM

Running 50:00 [3] 6.67 km (7:30 / km)

Pre-act, 35 elliptical, 15 bike, hip mobility, weights, stretch, roll, ice.

My calf was pretty sore this morning but I was stretching it out before I left, so it was ok during practice. Looking to maximize recovery today so I'm good to go on Saturday.

Monday Apr 30 #

Running 1:00:00 [3] 13.33 km (4:30 / km)

Pre-act, glute activation, 15 up, 3 x 1 hard 1 easy, 2 min recovery, 16 tempo, 2 min recovery, 3 x 1 hard 1 easy, 15 cooldown,

Good workout today, except for on the tempo I just wasn't very focused. Everything else went really well though

Sunday Apr 29 #

Running 1:20:00 [3] 17.78 km (4:30 / km)

Pre-act, 5 lunges, 75 min run, 20 hoh drills, hip mobility, basic strength, stretch, roll, ice.

Tough long run today. Pushed the pace a little whenever I recognized I was uncomfortable and starting to suffer, which helped me stay strong throughout.
