pre-act, glute activation, 12 easy, 12 med, 6 hard, full active, 400m, 300m, 200m, 100m @ 1500m race pace (recoveries: 2 min, 90 sec, 60 sec), 3 min recovery, 300m, 200m, 100m rolled down a bit.

Times: (64, 47, 32, 16, 45, 29, 15)

Great workout today, mentally and physically. Rolled the easy and medium a bit much on the progression run but dealt with it pretty well, got to a good Wednesday effort but really focused on active. The stuff on the track was great. Hit the splits on the first set and rolled it down a bit on the second set. Felt strong and fast throughout. Stayed very focused throughout everything.

Pre-act, lower leg strength, 20 run, 20 bike, 20 DWR, hip mobility, stretch, roll, ice.

Not feeling too beat up today, but felt pretty tired on the first few min of running. Super good effort today, felt nice and focused too. I enjoyed finishing with the DWR.

Good offday run today through Parkdale and Chapples. Got in some good stretching afterwards, focused on my calves and did some more heel drops when I was done.

Tuesday May 8, 2018 #

Pre-act, lower leg strength, intense spike ball, 6 min swim, drills, pool workout ( 3 x 5 (40s) 15 recovery, 50 between sets), 11 deepwater run, hip mobility, drills, strides, hurdle mobility, stretch, roll, ice.

Not so good on the spike ball this morning, couldn't even get a tweener. Workout was great though, got in deep and had a few calm conversations. Felt really focused throughout everything today. Still maximizing recovery for the big 3k tomorrow.

Nice easy run around chapples. Stayed on soft surfaces, feeling good for tomorrow.

Really good long run today. Felt pretty tired for the first half hour or so but really got into it and got in some great running in the last half.

Fun run today with the guys. Got in some really good strength and stretching today. Focusing even more on recovery tonight so that Wednesday goes well.
