Saturday Mar 23 #

Running 55:00 [3] 13.33 km (4:08 / km)

Pre-act, 1 Gratton length warm up, hard back to Oliver (16:07), 3 x 100m strides w 45s recovery, 15 down, hip mobility, sit and push, stretch, roll, ice.

Meh today, didn't feel too hot on warm up. Worked into it with D-man and T-pain. Goal today was to stay on and compete. Every time I wasn't sure if I could stay on I just went for the pass on D-man. T-pain flew by us just before the downhill and my initial thought was "Derek will get him" which isn't ideal. Still worked super hard to catch them after the hill. Didn't know who was behind me on the last stretch but I had to empty the tank so they didn't catch me.

Pre-act, 30 run, drill + hip mobility review, 3 strides, partner med ball, stretch, roll, ice.

Quick run today, felt a bit sore but good. Enjoyed the review today, got more out of drills and hip mobility today than I have been. Partner med ball was fun.

Wednesday Mar 20 #

Pre-act, bellrose + bike path loop @ medium effort with 5 x 1min hard, 1min easy, hip mobility, stretch, roll.

Great stuff this morning. Convinced the guys to start the hard minutes at the bottom of bellrose, then immediately took a spill and hit my knee. Made it pretty easy to struggle on the first one. Really got going pretty quick on the last few though, it was fun to compete.

Tuesday Mar 19 #

Pre-act, 6 min swim, drills, 3 x (5 x 40s), DWR to 45, hip mobility, drills, strides, med ball, stretch, roll.

Decent today, HR was a little lower than usual but everything else was really good.

Easy one with Stopes today. Didn't think I would need a bop today but changed my mind about half way through. Last 10 was better.

Monday Mar 18 #

Pre-act, bellrose + bikepath loop @ ~medium effort (68 min), hip mobility, stretch, roll.

Wasn't a huge fan of the uneven surfaces + the dark on the first portion of the loop, but overall enjoyed it this morning. Rolled it down and felt good at the end.

Fun shakeout, ran outside because it was pretty nice out. Got in a solid basic strength afterwards.

Tough one today. Definitely struggled on the last 30, still got in some good running at the end.
