(distance is from Garmin, not what the course length was, that was 5.2km, 275m) ----- Really good to number 1 and 2, 5th on both, but messed up 3 lots and was walking most of that leg - that was pretty much the only big mistake but it cost me 4 mins or so, realised half way to the control that there was a better and easier route along the path and over the top. Was quite happy with control flow and accuracy, hitting most of them very accurately and spiking them. Felt sick and hungry half way round but i wasn't going awfully fast anyway. Near the end got some more energy and dropped Francis finally and got the controls bang on. Overall a much better performance and result than last week at Grizedale so just need to begin on improving my fitness and improve my compass work.
