Little plod over Kings How and Brund Fell into Watendlath, then back via Dock tarn. Was feeling a bit tired after a wet day out on the fells, and everything was quite wet and slippery so took it easy and walked the steep descent, but enjoyed myself. Family was a bit worried when I got back having missed dinner and hearing the helicopters whizzing round the fells but I was all good. Slower going than expected though on the small, rough paths.

Run with Ali, Niamh, Dan and Dad from Newlands Hause up Knott Rigg, Sail, Crag Hill, Grisedale pike, Sand hill and Whiteless Pike. Another beautiful day, legs feeling alright apart from bit of a jarring feeling in my dodgy ankle on the descents that i've noticed for a while. Really enjoyed it.

Long steady solo run from near Grange along the Catbells ridge. Was going to cut back down to the valley from High Spy but was enjoying myself so much I decided to risk it and go up Dale Head, Hindscarth and Robinson then cut down to Buttermere where Dad and David had started their walk. Luckily the car was still there so I waited for them to get back for an hour. Was about to hitch a lift home when they returned, happy days.
