Running (Carol's training) 56:15 [2] 9.1 km (6:11 / km)

Carol was away this week so me Ellie Mark and Luke went on a long run but got a tad lost so it wasn't as long as it was meant to be but we ran on sand dunes the whole time which makes you feel like you're going nowhere, quite a nice lil run

Haven't been to park run in ages so i was supposed to be doing a 'tempo' and it felt like that but i managed to get my fastest run a Fell Foot park run this year and i felt fine the whole time, nowhere near my park run PB though. It was also very muddy which my legs did not enjoy :((

went to the gait analysis thing and basically found out that my running style is awful and v v v slow but fixable

There were slope and compass loops. I did compass 1 and messed up abit (a lot) so I repeated it. Then I did slopes. The weather was grim and I was absolutely freezing in my t-shirt (thought I was deffo gonna die in the woods) then collected controls.

Walk in to start and back from assembly, but everyone decided to run so it wasn't a walk in, it was a run in and run out. Me and Harry worked out that it was about 825m each way. fun fun fun

Dad worked me quite hard this evening, we spent 1hr30min in the bouldering room and then went downstairs to do some leads ya know

mum couldn't take me swimming as she was ill and I didn't get up in time to ride there :((

OUT AND BACKS Run out 1 minute back 1 min rest 1 min, run out 2 min back 2 min rest 2 min, run out 3 min back 3 min rest 2 min, run out 2 min back 2 min rest 1 min (copy and pasted harry's description) it was 18min running and 7 rest. My calfs were v v v tight by the end. Then did a lovely little relay and the girls obvs won :))
