I did my cumbria way route which i hadn't done in ages cos i am terrified of the cows but i had a lovely cow free run today. However it was really really muddy so i was doing high knees though shin deep mud and what felt like constant uphill the whole time. My legs were aching from before i set off so they weren't great but glad i got out.
